In the event of inclement weather, the Richard Salter Storrs Library may close to ensure the safety of library staff and visitors. In the event of a Library closing, all fines and fees for materials due on the unscheduled closed date will be waived (per C/W MARS Network membership policy). The Library encourages our patrons to consider their own safety first and foremost, and to follow all government issued travel advisories and bans.
If the Town offices are closed, the Library will close.
In the event of a delayed opening, morning programs will be cancelled.
Library closings and delayed openings will be posted to the Library’s website and, when possible, sent by email to the constant contact newsletter list. Library closings will also be posted to the town’s website.
