Welcome to the Storrs Summer Reading Program: June 13-August 13, 2022!

The goal of our Summer Reading Program is to encourage reading, belonging, and community while having fun all summer!  This summer, in conjunction with our many partners, we are sponsoring intriguing performances, historical presentations, lawn programs & games, adult crafts, walking clubs, and much more this summer.  Adults can register for the Summer Reading Program by clicking here.

Directions

Every time you use the Library, you can receive 1 Summer Ticket. Tickets will be handed out at the Front Desk.
Limit: 1 ticket/day.

How To Earn Summer Tickets

Adults can earn summer tickets by doing any of the following activities:

– checking out items
– attending programs
– using the computers
– browsing our collection
– reading the newspaper, etc.

How to Redeem Summer Tickets

Summer Tickets can be used to enter our Summer Gift Basket Raffles or to purchase a small treat.

Raffles

The drawing for all 9 raffles will take place on August 13. Make sure all your Summer Tickets have been submitted by August 12. The following baskets will be raffled off:

  • Dogs
  • Ice Cream Sundae
  • Gardening 
  • S’mores
  • Paint & Sip
  • Reading 
  • Beach
  • Jewelry from Michael SZWED Jewelers
  • Diamond Glow Facial from Spa on the Green

The 2021 Statewide Summer Reading Program is sponsored by the Storrs Library, The Massachusetts Regional Library System, the Boston Bruins, & the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners and the Institute of Museum and Library Services with support from the National Women’s Hockey League team Boston Pride.
