Bus Trip to King Arthur Flour Baking School: Hasty Pastry-Savory & Sweet

Join us for a Bus Trip to the King Arthur Flour Baking School in Norwich, VT to learn how to make savory and sweet Hasty Pastry: you’ll never buy pre-packaged puff pastry again!
Make a quick dough for buttery, flaky pastry, then use it to create both sweet and savory puff pastries for breakfasts, brunches, high teas, etc.

The bus will leave the Richard Salter Storrs Library promptly at 6:45 a.m., so please arrange to arrive ahead of time. The trip up to Norwich is about 2 hours. Class will begin at 9:00, shortly after we arrive, so please arrange to bring a bag breakfast, if needed. After class, there will be about 2 hours to shop the café, bakery and store. We will leave Norwich promptly at 2:00 and should arrive back in Longmeadow around 4:00 p.m.

$188 covers the cost of the class and the bus ride to and from King Arthur. Checks should be made out to the Richard Salter Storrs Library and are due upon registration. If your check is not received by May 3, your space will be given to the first person on the waiting list.
